This device has only 1 GB RAM and that is too little without some tweaks. Also power need is very critical. Use a good USB power source. Just turn on all the CEC options in the Mi Box settings menu, and make sure it's not disabled in your TV's menu either. It works great, my TV remote is in storage, don't even need it. With CEC enabled in tv setting, it should auto shut off when putting attached HDMI device to sleep. It only works well on two of my tvs (sony and Vizio).
